What is Voip?
Voice delivered using the Internet.
In general, this means sending voice information
in digital form rather than the traditional circuit
public switched telephone network (PSTN). A major
advantage of VOIP and Internet telephony is that
it avoids the tolls charged by ordinary telephone
service also the other benefit is that Internet
to Internet calls are totally free so for example
a company that has 2 or more sites can cut of
the cost of calls between sites by placing a Voip
system in each of the sites regardless of their
geographical location and from that point onwards
no call charges between the sites.
In truth the benefits of VoIP are more than free or cheap calls.
Because VoIP integrates voice calling with the IP network, small businesses will only need one network to run in the very near future as more and more companies will make the switch to voip as the technology becomes more widespread, rather than separate IT
and phone networks. A single integrated network is far more cost effective to implement and

Inkaa IT's Platform includes an Ericsson Class 5 telecoms switch, which is used to terminate calls to our Tier1 interconnect partners. Coms.Net is a “single hop” VoIP service, only the call from you to us is over VoIP, the terminating leg of the call is completed over traditional TDM circuits, which reduces latency, codec changes and delivers better call quality to our customers.
Carrier Class Platform
Inkaa IT's carrier class platform is fully redundant and hosted in a leading London data centre, so if the broadband connection to your office is offline, calls will still be answered and routed to your plan, which typically includes forwarding to landline or mobiles phones if the IP phones are not online.

How it works?
VoIP telephony uses the internet (Voice over Internet Protocol) to make and receive phone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a standard phone line.
Using Inkaa IT's Hosted PBX services you don't need a traditional PBX installed in your office. Incoming calls are answered and routed by our servers to any phone, wherever it is. So you can have a switchboard that is routing sales calls to London and technical support calls to Mexico, and all OnNet calls are free.

What's it all about?
Many of the latest mobile phones are WiFi and VoIP capable, so that they can browse the internet and make and receive VoIP calls as well as normal mobile (GSM) calls. These mobile wifi voip can work with your modem wifi router giving you the choice to make as little or as much calls as you want.
The benefit being that whenever you are connected to a WiFi Hot Spot you can make and receive VoIP calls. For example, if you are connected to a WiFi Hot Spot in Singapore, you could make calls from your mobile at the standard Inkaa rates or talk to colleagues on the Inkaa IT system for free as the handset will work exactly the same as any Inkaa IT IP Phone.
Quick & Easy Setup
Setting up most features on a mobile is fiddly and time consuming, so we have developed an Over-The-Air Provisioning (OTAP) system.Inkaa IT can enable WiFi VoIP on compatible Nokia WiFi VoIP handsets, listed on the left, using our OTAP system.
New & Existing Customers
Mobile WiFi VoIP can be enabled on your account with either chargeable UK Direct Dial numbers or as free internal extensions, no additional "seat" fee is charged for a WiFi mobile, if you already have a primary seat. However if your company is going to use Mobile WiFi VoIP as your primary phones, then the usual per seat charges apply.

For those who prefer a hardware based solution we offer our feature rich open source based flavour called Siptrix
with this unit comes unlimited voicemail, unlimited extensions, conference rooms, 3 way calling, call queing, long line extensions for your teleworkers, call reports and recording.
Siptrix IP-PBX can be ordered with what is know as an analogue gateway which can be used as failover or as another trunk should there be any problem with your voip trunks.
Our Siptrix unit can be pre-configured to match your own IT Infrastructure we liase with your own in house IT department to ensure that your network is ready for Voip before any work is carried out
